When is the pre-authorization of the deposit cancelled ?

When your deposit is managed by SamBoat, we send you an email before your booking asking you to submit the security deposit. A pre-authorization will be withdrawn from your card, it won't be debited unless the owner declares a claim.
If the owner doesn't inform our team of a damage / problem follwing the 48 hours after the last day of your booking, the pre-authorization on your credit card is cancelled and labelled as "Released" on the page of your booking.

Even if SamBoat.com cancels the pre-authorization 48 hours after the last day of your booking, it can still take some time for your bank to aknowledge this information and release the amount held on your credit card.
