Dreamy week on Nord Star. The boat is a little old and tired but we booked with a decent discount so can’t complain. Sailed very well and fuel cost surprisingly low. Denis and his team were great. Very good comms and they are hard working and helpful. A minor issue was fixed mid-week.
Base marina location is the best in Ibiza. Old Town centre literally on your doorstep. No facilities though. Just two pontoons with water, electricity and waste. Our last night’s sleep in marina was ruined by some loud neighbours partying (with a different charter company), but that’s Ibiza. Bring ear plugs.
Main issue was the attitude around black water. We were told it was ok to release in marina harbour and how “no one cares” when anchored. This was very disappointing and Ibiza seems to be getting out of control. As one of the largest sailing charter companies on the island please take better responsibility here. In other countries you would likely be fined or even put out of business over this.

Equipe très dévouée et professionnelle, ils travaillent beaucoup, et font le maximum pour vous fournir un bateau correct. Ils nous ont alerté sur un phénomène orageux brutal, nous avons apprécié. Ils ont été tolérants sur les petits incidents matériels sur le voilier, courants après une croisière de 2 semaines. Je les recommande vivement. Un regret : pas de sanitaires au port (wc, douches, etc...)

Alquilamos el Nord-Star del 23/06/21 al 27/06/21, el barco estaba limpio, los baños funcionan bien, la cocina equipada y preparada para pasar los días contratados. Es un barco con buena habitabilidad, fácil de llevar y que navega bien. Anastasia y Leo nos hicieron el check-in y nos explicaron el funcionamiento del barco con todo detalle.
